Lessons From the Friday Unknowns

A 35-year-old male with a history of acute onset of lymphoadenopathy affecting many lymph node groups, associated with fever, chills and fatigue. Laboratory studies showed absolute monocytosis and mild thrombocytopenia. Submental lymph nodes were excised.

Histologic sections show florid hyperplasia.
