Histologic sections show lymph nodes with an effaced architecture, involved by a neoplastic infiltrate.

The infiltrate is composed of large cells with ovoid/epithelioid shape, irregular nuclear contours, mildly stippled chromatin, and moderate amounts of cytoplasm.
